Subscribing to the eModal Box Trade™ VCY includes access to eModal Power Trade™ and the eModal Resource Directory.

eModal Box Trade™

eModal Box Trade™ allows you to the opportunity to transact containers with other driver through our Matching Service. eModal Matches the Posting Company’s Equipment and/or Power Post with the critirea of the Searching Company. We then present the match to the Equipment Provider (Steam Ship Line) for their approval.

No longer will you have to send a truck bobtail to the Marine Terminals and Rail Ramps everytime you have to pick up or return empty containers! The eModal Box Trade™ VCY helps you reduce your truck trips to the Marine Terminals and Rail Ramps. eModal Box Trade™ helps you to dramatically reduce your fuel cost and lost time in Terminals and Ramps. Using the eModal Box Trade™ VCY matching service will assist you in increasing both your fleet efficiency and the level of service you provide to your customers.

eModal Power Trade™

You can even list your Containers as available with Power! This will allow you to offer your Drayage Services to Companies Searching for both Containers and Power to haul them. Why bobtail back from a drop location? Why Bobtail to a Pick Up Location? Posting your power will help you to be matched with others who need power in the same area.

eModal Power Trade™ allows Driver to post the power (fleet) availability in any geographic area around the country. These postings are made available to subscribing Importers, Exporters, Brokers, F/Forwarders, 3PLs and IMCs. They can then contact you for solicitation of your Drayage Services in the area you posted available Power.

Post and Search Matches

You will receive an email notification whenever an eModal Box Trade™ or eModal Power Trade™ Searcher has selected your Posting and a Match is created. You simply accept or reject the match. If you accept, we’ll email the Equipment Provider (for their approval), all the Match Data, i.e. Container, Booking, Return Terminal, both Companies contact info and their SCACs. If you should choose to reject the match, just select that option in the email. The Searcher is notified and continues their search. It’s That easy!

Resource Directory

The eModal Resource Directory is available to, and lists, all Subscribing Companies. Your Directory Listing will allow you to display your Company Profile, Contact Information, Fleet Size and Services for Hire to any Subscriber viewing you Listing.

The eModal Box Trade™/ eModal Power Trade™ Application is only $480 for a 12 month period for Post/Search customers and $380 a year for Power and Equipment W/Power Search customers. Payment is easliy made by check or a major credit card. Renewal are automatic for each subsequent 12 month period when paying with a major credit card.
